Use firefox, install ublock origin as an adblocker. It’s the best adblocker, and the only one you should use. And Its developer outright says it works best on firefox, and Mozilla is committed to keeping adblockers working while Google is actively steering chrome and chromium development towards making them impossible with Manifest v3.

Still to combat Youtube adblock-blocking, you need to keep Ublock and its filters updated. Follow the Ublock Origin subreddit for instructions, here is the most recent thread on how to do that.
